CAUTION - Failure to follow the instructions could result in personal injury or physical damage to the equipment and surroundings.
WARNING
- Before riding the bicycle, check that the wheels are securely fastened. If the wheels are loose in any way, they may fall off the bicycle and serious injury may result.
- Do not use it to ride downhill, otherwise the wheel may bend or otherwise be damaged, resulting in an accident.- Before use, check the wheels to make sure that the spokes are not bent or loose and that there are no nicks, scratches or cracks on the rim surface. If you find any of these problems, do not use the wheel. The wheel may break and you may fall. For carbon wheels, check that there is no peeling or cracking of the carbon.
- These wheels are designed for use with disc brakes only. Do not use these wheels with rim brakes.
- After reading the instruction manual carefully, keep this instruction manual in a safe place for future reference.
Wheel F15 (front, 15 mm axle), R12 (rear 12 mm axle)
- This wheel has been designed for downhill and freeride cycling. Therefore, depending on the riding conditions, cracks may form on the hub axle, which may result in failure of the hub axle. This may lead to an accident, which could result in serious injury or even death. Before riding, you should carefully check the hubs to make sure that there are no cracks in the axles, and if you find any signs of cracks or other unusual conditions, DO NOT USE the bicycle.
- If the axle release lever is on the same side as the disc brake rotor, there is a risk that it may interfere with the disc brake rotor. Check that even after tightening the axle release lever with your palm with full force, the axle release lever does not interfere with the disc brake rotor. If the lever interferes with the disc brake rotor, stop using the bicycle and consult your dealer or representative.
- If the axle release lever is not used correctly, the wheel may fall off the bicycle, resulting in serious injury.
F15 Wheel
- This wheel can be used in combination with a special front fork and E-Thru system. If used in combination with any other front fork or thru axle, the wheel may come off the bicycle while riding, resulting in serious personal injury.
- Both the securing method and the tightening torque of the front wheel differ depending on the type of front suspension fork used. When installing the front wheel to the front suspension fork, always follow the instructions in the Service Instructions for the Front Suspension Fork. Failure to follow the instructions may cause the front wheel to fall off the front suspension fork, resulting in serious injury.
F (front), R (rear) wheel
- If the quick release lever is on the same side as the disc brake rotor, there is a risk that it may interfere with the disc brake rotor. Check that even after tightening the quick release lever with full force with your palm, the quick release lever does not interfere with the disc brake rotor. If the lever interferes with the disc brake rotor, stop using the wheel and consult your dealer or representative.
Tubeless wheel
- Before riding, check that the tires are securely attached to the rims. If the tires fall off while riding, you may fall and be seriously injured.
WARNING
- Tires should be inflated to the pressure marked on the tires before use.
- If you use a puncture repair agent, consult your dealer or representative.
Warm-up time
- Disc brakes have a warm-up time and the braking force gradually increases as the warm-up time continues. Be sure to avoid any such increases in braking force while using the brakes during the warm-up period. The same thing happens when the brake pads or rotor are replaced.
