Failure to follow the safety instructions may lead to accidents that may result in serious injury or death. Cardo recommends that you take all necessary precautions and remain alert to traffic, weather and all road conditions. Do not perform pairing, connecting or any complex operations while driving.
All publications are intended to describe the technical capabilities of the device and should not be construed as encouraging the use of Cardo Products in a manner that is dangerous or prohibited by law.
Exercise extreme caution when using this Product and obey all applicable traffic laws. Always drive safely and do not allow yourself to be distracted by the device while driving. Do not use the Product if it could be dangerous.
The use of mobile communication systems is prohibited or restricted in some regions or countries. Before using the Product, please check all local, state and federal laws and regulations (“Laws”) applicable in your area and remember that compliance with the laws is the sole responsibility of the user.
Use the Product while moving only where and in a manner permitted by applicable law. No part of the body should touch the antenna while the device is in operation. Use the Product only in safe locations and avoid using it at gas stations, fuel depots or near explosives. Use the Product with hearing aids and medical devices only after consulting a physician or professional. Ensure that the Product is installed and secured in a stable manner.

Health Warnings
Hearing Damage: Listening to audio at excessive volume may distort the sound and increase the risk of hearing damage or loss.
Hearing Loss: Audio devices can cause hearing loss. Use caution and avoid prolonged exposure to high volume levels, which can damage or even cause hearing loss. Permanent hearing damage may occur when using the Product at high volume levels for extended periods.
RF Signals: Most electronic devices are shielded from RF signals, but some devices may not be adequately shielded against signals emitted by wireless devices.
Pacemakers: The Medical Devices Association recommends that a minimum separation of approximately 16 cm (6 inches) be maintained between a mobile or wireless device and a pacemaker to avoid potential interference with the pacemaker. Be careful not to interfere with personal medical devices.
Hearing aids: Some devices may interfere with certain types of hearing aids. If interference occurs, contact the manufacturer of your hearing aid to discuss possible solutions.
Other medical devices: If you use any other personal medical devices, consult the manufacturer and/or your physician to determine if they are adequately shielded from external RF energy. Your physician can help you obtain this information.

Battery Safety
1. Do not replace the battery with an incorrect type as this may result in an explosion.
2. Disposing of the battery in a fire, in a hot oven, or by crushing or cutting it mechanically may result in an explosion.
3. Leaving the battery in an extremely high temperature environment may cause an explosion or the release of flammable liquid or gas.
4. A battery exposed to extremely low air pressure may explode or leak flammable gas or liquid.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, it is hereby clarified that
(i) The product is designed for use in environments where it will be regularly exposed to water (e.g. rain, snow or splashing); and
(ii) for safety and reliability reasons, the batteries cannot be removed or replaced.

• A small number of people may have unusual reactions to certain materials. Prolonged contact with specific environments, soap, sweat, sunscreen, creams or other substances may cause allergic reactions.
• To reduce the risk of skin irritation, do not wear the Product on broken skin.
• If redness, swelling, itching or other reaction occurs, stop using the Product immediately and consult a doctor.
