Description
COPPER PASTE is a copper paste that creates an effective separation layer between metal surfaces at temperatures from -40 °C to +900 °C and briefly up to +1200 °C, thus preventing corrosion. The paraffin-based base oil ensures lubrication up to 280 °C and above this temperature the copper particles provide lubrication.
Application:
COPPER PASTE is used as an assembly paste for all types of screws, threads and pressed parts.
The high content of fine copper particles permanently prevents corrosion and seizure. This assembly paste (similar to anti-seize paste) has proven to be highly effective in applications with high thermal and mechanical stress, such as bolted joints on brakes, brake discs and even the backs of brake pads.
Note: Not suitable for roller bearings or high-speed plain bearings.
